My name is Hannah Ellis, and I am from Cleveland, Tennesse. I previously attended Cleveland High School and graduated in the year, 2012. Following graduation, I attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. After attending UTC for 5 years, I graduated this May with my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. A special education endorsement was also added to my degree.

My experience ranges from newborn/infants to high school students. My younger sister recently had a baby who I have spent numerous hours hours with. For seven years, I was a nanny for two children. My responsibilities included: bathing, transportation, cleaning, tutoring, etc. My favorite hobby is playing soccer, and I was blessed with a great opportunity to be named an assistant coach for Cleveland High School girls' soccer team. That experience helped me grow in many ways because I was able to understand how to coach and teach a range of people. Learning about people is the best thing you can do as a teacher.

I am from a very small town about 45 minutes away from Chattanooga. Each one of my family members has had teaching experience in different grades/ages of students. I have two pugs whom I love with my whole heart. They are my life, and their names are Hazel and Hugo. Soccer is one thing I have always been passionate about, and I have had the opportunity to share both of my passions, soccer and teaching, while coaching a soccer team. My love for teaching began when I started nannying. One of my daily duties was to tutor the struggling child, and I was able to help the student in other ways that his teachers could not. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please reach out to me! I want to be able to easily communicate and collaborate with all parents and students.
